Solar Installation Technician
on-Site Installation & Technical Support: Execute hands-on installation of solar panels, inverters, wiring, and balance-of-system components. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, industry codes, and environmental guidelines.
Job Scope:
Install rooftop, ground-mounted, and hybrid solar PV systems.
Perform electrical wiring, conduit work, inverter setup, and system connections.
Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting on-site.
Ensure installation quality as per MNRE & IEC standards.
Maintain and repair solar systems when required.
Assist project engineers in site surveys and material handling.
Educate clients on system operation and maintenance.
Requirements:
ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical field.
1–3 years of experience in solar installation (preferred).
Strong knowledge of solar PV modules, inverters, and safety protocols.
Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions.
Familiarity with hand tools, testing instruments, and safety gear.
Strong problem-solving skills with a team-first attitude.
